Ferrari has officially unveiled its 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) challenger, the stunning 499P Hypercar, as the Italian marque sets its sights on the coveted world championship title.

Ferrari 499P Hypercar: A Bold Evolution in Ferrari’s Racing Legacy
The 499P continues Ferrari’s unmistakable design DNA, donning the brand’s signature deep red—a nod to historic Ferrari race cars—complemented by Giallo Modena accents. The high-gloss finish enhances visibility during night-time racing, while matte elements align with Scuderia Ferrari HP’s Formula 1 styling.
Under the hood, the 499P features a hybrid powertrain powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine derived from Ferrari’s road-going lineup, showcasing FIA WEC’s influence on technology transfer between racing and production models.
“Over the winter, we refined every aspect of the car,” said Ferdinando Cannizzo, Ferrari’s Head of Endurance Race Cars. “We’ve optimized aerodynamics, expanded the set-up window, and focused on maximizing tyre performance under all conditions. This season, we aim to be more consistent and competitive across the board.”
Ferrari’s Quest for the FIA WEC Championship
Having consistently finished inside the top three in the FIA WEC Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ standings since its return, Ferrari is determined to secure both titles this season.
The 2025 driver lineup remains unchanged, with Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen sharing the #50 499P, while Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi take the wheel of the #51 car. Both crews have secured 24 Hours of Le Mans victories in the past two seasons, reinforcing Ferrari’s dominance in endurance racing.
“2025 marks our third year in the FIA WEC’s top class, and our goal is clear: to fight for the world championship,” said Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti. “We’ve learned valuable lessons over the past two years, and this season, we are better prepared to challenge for the title against some of the most experienced manufacturers in the series.”
As Ferrari embarks on the 2025 FIA WEC campaign, expectations are high for the 499P Hypercar to deliver yet another season of thrilling performances, keeping the Prancing Horse at the forefront of endurance racing.
