Nissan Unveils All-New 2025 Murano with Bold Design and Elevated In-Cabin Experience
Nissan has officially revealed the all-new 2025 Murano, a sleek and sophisticated next-generation midsize crossover designed exclusively for the U.S. and Canadian markets. Slated to go on sale in early 2025, the redesigned Murano brings a host of enhancements across styling, technology, safety, and performance—setting a new benchmark for premium crossovers in its segment.
Design That Embodies “Energetic Elegance”
Continuing Nissan’s “energetic elegance” design theme, the 2025 Murano showcases a dynamic yet refined appearance. The exterior is marked by full-width LED tail lights, an expressive front fascia, available 21-inch alloy wheels, and eye-catching two-tone paint options.
Inside, the cabin transforms into a serene sanctuary. Premium materials, soft-touch surfaces, and upscale details elevate the Murano’s interior appeal. Drivers and passengers will enjoy dual 12.3-inch high-definition displays, optional 64-color ambient lighting, and even massaging front seats, offering a truly luxurious ride experience.
Safety and Assistance Tech for Peace of Mind
The 2025 Murano comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360, offering a suite of advanced driver assistance features. It also includes ProPILOT Assist and ProPILOT Assist 1.1 for enhanced highway driving support. Two new innovations make their debut in the Murano lineup:
- Invisible Hood View – a virtual perspective through the engine bay for tight maneuvers.
- 3D Around View® Monitor – provides eight unique angles for superior visibility while parking or navigating tight spaces.
Built-in Google Connectivity and Premium Audio
In terms of in-car technology, the new Murano introduces Google built-in, allowing seamless access to apps like Google Maps directly from the 12.3-inch infotainment display. Passengers are also treated to an immersive listening experience through the available 10-speaker Bose® audio system, tuned specifically for the Murano’s cabin acoustics.
More Power and Improved Driving Dynamics
Under the hood, the 2025 Murano features a new 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine that delivers 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque—an increase in torque from the previous model. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters for enhanced driving engagement.
Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, and the vehicle benefits from frequency-sensitive dampers and electric power steering to refine ride quality and handling.
Manufactured in America, Coming Early 2025
Like its predecessor, the new Murano will be built at Nissan’s Smyrna, Tennessee plant. It is the third all-new Nissan model introduced under The Arc business plan, following the recent launches of the Kicks and the Armada. Pricing details will be announced closer to the market launch.
With this bold redesign, Nissan reasserts the Murano’s position as a premium, tech-forward crossover, offering a well-rounded blend of style, connectivity, comfort, and confidence on the road.
