Q1: Fernandez and Aldeguer Break Through
Early tension hit Q1 as Ai Ogura crashed at Turn 8, putting pressure on his second bike run. Teammate Raul Fernandez set the early benchmark, and Fermin Aldeguer followed up with a flying lap that nudged Joan Mir out of the top two.
Mir briefly reclaimed a Q2 spot, but Aldeguer struck back, topping Mir by just 0.004s. Fernandez maintained his lead with a 1:31.517, pushing both into Q2 with strong momentum.
Q2: Quartararo Stuns as Yamaha Beats Ducati
MotoGP 2025 Dutch GP Qualifying reached its peak in Q2 with an electrifying session featuring riders from Yamaha, Ducati, and Aprilia. Marc Marquez initially set the tone, but it was his brother Alex Marquez and Bagnaia who took turns at P1.
Then, Quartararo unleashed a brilliant final sector to reclaim pole with his 20th all-time pole for Yamaha, clocking 1:30.651, just ahead of Bagnaia and Alex Marquez.
Marc Marquez, despite improving his time, could only manage P4, marking just the second time this season he starts off the front row.
