It’s called Desmo450 MX the project with which Ducati entered the world of motocross. In the middle, in technical terms, little is known officially but it is already super winning, as demonstrated during the Italian Pro Championship – Prestige MX1 2024 from the podiums of Alessandro Lupino (in action in the opening photo) and Antonio Cairoli. The engine does not betray the origins of the brand and brings with it Desmo technology for opening and closing the intake and exhaust valves. The frame is a semi-perimetric aluminum, with the upper part made of single casting, without welding. Furthermore, there is also the reference components as regards cycling: the suspensions are signed Showa while the braking system is marked Brembo.
