2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX and SE: The Ultimate Sport Touring Upgrade
Kawasaki has officially launched the fifth-generation Ninja 1100SX ABS and its premium variant, the Ninja 1100SX SE ABS, setting a new standard in the sport-touring segment. Designed for riders who crave supersport performance with touring comfort, the 2025 models blend power, technology, and versatility into a compelling new package.
A More Powerful and Refined Engine
At the heart of the Ninja 1100SX lies an all-new 1,099cc inline four-cylinder engine, up from 1,043cc in previous models. With improved torque delivery and stronger midrange performance, the updated motor delivers a thrilling ride in any condition. Matched with optimized gear ratios and longer fifth and sixth gears, it provides both punchy acceleration and smoother highway cruising.
State-of-the-Art Electronics and Ride Modes
The 2025 Ninja 1100SX is packed with rider aids including:
- Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) with three settings
- Power Modes (Full and Low) for adjustable performance
- Integrated Riding Modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and customizable Rider mode
- Cornering Management System (KCMF)
- Cruise Control and Kawasaki Intelligent ABS (KIBS) for enhanced safety
Newly optimized Quick Shifter (KQS) now works at lower RPMs for smoother shifts, and a USB-C outlet is standard on both variants.
Chassis, Suspension and Comfort Upgrades
The chassis features a highly rigid aluminum twin-tube frame, helping centralize mass and improve agility. Suspension upgrades include:
- 41mm Inverted Fork with full adjustability
- Horizontal Back-Link Rear Suspension
- Öhlins S46 Shock (SE model) with remote preload adjuster
Comfort enhancements include a 32.3-inch seat height, redesigned cushioning, and heated grips on the SE variant for added touring capability.
Braking and Wheel Enhancements
Braking is handled by high-performance Brembo M4.32 calipers and radial-pump master cylinders on the SE variant, paired with a new larger 260mm rear disc. Lightweight six-spoke wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax S23 tires for excellent grip and control.
Sleek Styling and Smart Connectivity
Aggressive fairing design, LED lighting, and integrated chin spoilers give the 1100SX a sharp and modern Ninja identity. A full-color 4.3” TFT display offers two themes (Touring and Sport), and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity via the updated Rideology app brings navigation, notifications, and voice control to the rider’s fingertips.
Special Edition Extras: The Ninja 1100SX SE ABS
The SE version elevates the experience with:
- Gold-finished wheels and fork tubes
- Grip heaters
- Enhanced braking and suspension components
