Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA Presents 2025 Hypercar Livery in Paris
The Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA has unveiled the striking livery for its pair of third-generation V-Series.R Hypercars, set to compete in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The presentation took place at Cadillac City Paris, the brand’s flagship EV store, marking the official start of Cadillac’s most ambitious endurance racing campaign to date.
Two Cadillac Hypercars on the Grid for WEC 2025
For the first time, Cadillac will run two full-season entries in FIA WEC, strengthening its presence in the Hypercar category. The program is backed by a partnership with JOTA Sport, a seasoned endurance racing outfit and two-time winner of the FIA World Cup for Hypercar Teams.
The team will field the #12 and #38 V-Series.R prototypes, blending Cadillac’s design DNA — such as its signature vertical lighting and floating blades — with cutting-edge race technology derived from over a century of motorsport heritage.
Star-Studded Driver Line-Up
Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA’s six-driver roster features a mix of proven champions and rising talent:
- Jenson Button – 2009 Formula 1 World Champion
- Will Stevens – returning after strong results in 2024
- Norman Nato – experienced endurance racer
- Alex Lynn – Cadillac factory driver
- Earl Bamber – two-time Le Mans winner
- Sébastien Bourdais – four-time Champ Car Champion
The exact driver pairings for the #12 and #38 Hypercars will be revealed closer to the season.
Cadillac’s Growing Commitment to FIA WEC
The collaboration with JOTA marks a major step for Cadillac, doubling its FIA WEC presence and making JOTA a works team for the first time. JOTA already made headlines in 2024 by claiming a historic outright Hypercar victory at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps — the first ever for a privateer squad.
“This unveiling is more than just a livery,” said David Clark, Co-Founder and Director of JOTA. “It’s the symbol of a new era, where two record-setting brands join forces to compete on endurance racing’s biggest stage.”
Cadillac Showcases Innovation and Performance
According to Pere Brugal, Managing Director and President of GM Europe, the unveiling reflects Cadillac’s “unwavering commitment to innovation and performance on the global stage.” He emphasized the importance of FIA WEC in showcasing Cadillac’s pioneering spirit and technology transfer from race cars to production vehicles.
With two Hypercars on the grid, a powerhouse driver line-up, and the backing of both Cadillac and JOTA, the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R program represents a bold new chapter for the American manufacturer in endurance racing. Fans will get their first glimpse of the cars in competitive action when the 2025 FIA WEC season kicks off.
