Leading the charge was the new front Shark® Disc for Off-Road, complementing the existing rear disc in the series. Engineered for extreme terrain, the Shark discs offer up to 30% lower operating temperatures, greater thermal resistance, and a 40% increase in pad life—a technological leap for off-road riders.
For everyday urban commuters, Galfer introduced a new range of round discs and pads for scooters, delivering high-end braking precision and durability, along with ECE R90 certification, a globally recognized safety standard. These products bring Galfer’s race-proven technologies to the daily rider.
Looking ahead, Galfer also revealed Floatech® technology, set to debut on road-use Sport & Street bikes in 2025. With this innovation, Galfer continues to redefine safety and performance in the braking world.
Global Recognition with R90 Certification
In a significant milestone, Galfer announced that all fixed discs now meet R90 certification, exceeding the respected TÜV KBA standards. This achievement highlights the brand’s relentless focus on quality assurance and reinforces its position as a global leader in braking solutions.
Engaging the Community: “Brake and Win” Contest
EICMA 2024 also served as a platform to connect with fans through the “BRAKE AND WIN” contest, held on November 7. Contestants competed in a fun, knowledge-based game with thrilling rewards—two passes for the 2025 MotoGP season and two tickets to the Master of Dirt event in Milan.
