Husqvarna Mobility has introduced the 2025 EE 5, a cutting-edge electric motocross machine designed to elevate the riding experience for young enthusiasts. Featuring water-cooling technology, the updated EE 5 extends average battery life by 30% while delivering consistent power throughout its runtime.
The EE 5, launched initially in 2019, has become a benchmark for electric motocross, rivaling the performance of 50 cc combustion engine bikes. Powered by a 5 kW electric motor and a 907 Wh Li-Ion battery, the 2025 model offers six adjustable ride modes to accommodate riders of varying skill levels. The battery ensures up to two hours of riding in the lowest mode and about 30 minutes in the most performance-focused setting. Recharging is convenient with a universal charger compatible with 110V or 230V sockets, achieving 80% charge in just 45 minutes and a full charge in 70 minutes.
The EE 5’s chassis is designed for adaptability and rider growth. With height-adjustable ergonomics, the seat height can shift from the standard 674 mm to 626 mm by refitting components and repositioning the WP suspension. This flexibility ensures that younger riders can begin confidently and continue using the bike as they grow.
Complementing the innovative design is premium WP suspension, offering 193 mm of rear travel and 205 mm up front, along with adjustable settings for preload, compression, and rebound. The EE 5 also boasts high-end components such as hydraulic disc brakes, a robust chromium-molybdenum steel frame, NEKEN handlebars, ODI grips, and MAXXIS tyres for exceptional performance on diverse terrains.
Finished with scaled-down bodywork inspired by Husqvarna’s full-size motocross models and striking new graphics, the 2025 EE 5 exemplifies a seamless blend of advanced technology and rider-centric engineering.
Husqvarna’s water-cooled EE 5 sets a new standard in electric motocross, ensuring young riders enjoy unparalleled performance and adaptability, making it an ideal choice for both newcomers and budding racers.
