Picture-Perfect Porsches: Manthey Racing and Iron Dames Set Sights on WEC 2025 LMGT3 Success
Manthey Racing and the Iron Dames have revealed their eye-catching new liveries on the Porsche 911 GT3 R for the FIA WEC 2025 LMGT3 class, launching a powerful two-car assault with high expectations for success. Following their November announcement of a new partnership, the teams have now officially presented the Porsche 911 GT3 R LMGT3 entries that will hit the track starting with the Qatar 1812km on February 28.
This collaboration unites two of the series’ most respected operations—Manthey, the dominant force in LMGT3 last season, and the Iron Dames, pioneers of female talent in endurance racing.
New Era, Familiar Faces: Iron Dames Stay Pink and Proud
The #85 Iron Dames Porsche will be driven by long-time teammates Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey, and FIA WEC newcomer Célia Martin. The car features an evolved version of the iconic Iron Dames pink livery, enhanced with fresh color gradients for even greater visibility and flair.
Gatting, who recently became an official Porsche driver, expressed excitement about the new chapter:
“I’m super-excited to start the season with Manthey. They have an incredible reputation, and I know I’ll learn a lot. I also love the new livery—it’s bold, recognizable, and a perfect reflection of the Iron Dames’ energy and spirit.”
The Iron Dames are no strangers to Porsche machinery, having made history in 2023 with the first all-female crew victory in FIA WEC at Bahrain—a win Gatting helped secure.
Manthey 1st Phorm: New Look, Proven Firepower in #92 Porsche
The #92 Porsche, run under the Manthey 1st Phorm banner, combines championship-winning pedigree with fresh talent. Richard Lietz, a class winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will lead the charge alongside Riccardo Pera and Ryan Hardwick—both new to the Manthey squad.
Hardwick, who previously competed in a Ford Mustang in 2024, is confident about the team’s potential and proud of the livery that fuses two racing traditions:
“We’ve blended Manthey’s signature arrow design with the bold 1st Phorm blue seen on many championship-winning Porsches in North America. It’s a special moment for both brands.”
Building Momentum Toward the Qatar Curtain-Raiser
Both cars will take part in the traditional ‘Prologue’ group test at the Losail International Circuit ahead of the season opener in Qatar. With Manthey aiming to defend its LMGT3 title and the Iron Dames pushing for more historic milestones, expectations are high for this high-profile alliance.
A Fusion of Performance and Purpose
This partnership not only merges performance engineering and racing heritage, but also stands for diversity and inclusivity in motorsport. The Iron Dames continue to break boundaries while proving their mettle on the world stage, and Manthey’s technical excellence adds championship-winning depth to their efforts.
As the 2025 FIA WEC season gears up, all eyes will be on the vibrant #85 and #92 Porsches—symbols of power, passion, and purpose ready to chase LMGT3 glory.
