All New Triumph Trident 660 2025
Triumph Motorcycles has significantly upgraded its award-winning Trident 660 for the 2025 model year, packing in more rider-focused technology, an enhanced suspension system, and a striking palette of new colors. Available in dealerships from December 2024, the updated Trident 660 promises even more fun and unparalleled value in the mid-size roadster segment.
Class-Leading Technology Now Standard
Responding to strong customer demand, the 2025 Trident 660 now boasts a suite of features previously unseen as standard in its class. These include Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, which leverage a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to provide optimal performance and safety at all lean angles by continuously monitoring and adjusting engine and braking parameters. Also standard are Triumph Shift Assist for seamless clutchless gear changes and Cruise Control to reduce rider fatigue. The integrated TFT display now offers turn-by-turn navigation, calls, and music control via the MyTriumph Bluetooth Connectivity system. Riders can also choose from three distinct rider modes, including a new Sport mode.
Unrivalled Triple Engine Performance
The Trident 660 remains the only triple-engine motorcycle in its class, delivering exhilarating and exploitable performance. Its flexible three-cylinder engine provides abundant low-down torque, a strong midrange, and an exciting top-end rush, with over 90% of peak torque available from 3,600rpm to 9,750rpm. This unique engine characteristic combines the best attributes of both twin and four-cylinder engines, offering strong low-end pull with high-revving top-end power, all accompanied by a glorious three-cylinder soundtrack. The smooth power delivery, coupled with the slick gearbox and Triumph Shift Assist, ensures seamless and exhilarating rapid acceleration.
Enhanced Handling and Rider Confidence
Key to the Trident’s appeal is its neutral and easy handling, stemming from its natural riding position, high-quality suspension, and powerful brakes. The accessible seat height of 805mm and narrow width make for confident low-speed maneuvers. For 2025, the 41mm Showa upside-down forks have been upgraded with Showa’s SFF-BF ‘big piston’ damping for even greater comfort and control. The bike also features a preload-adjustable Showa RSU, powerful Nissin brakes with twin 310mm discs, and grippy Michelin Road 5 tires.
Bold New Styling and Premium Details
The Trident’s unique retro-modern styling and Triumph’s meticulous attention to detail set it apart. For 2025, its unmistakable muscular stance is enhanced by three bold new color and graphics schemes: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red. These vibrant options are complemented by touches of Sapphire Black and striking diagonal white stripes, while a more subtle Jet Black scheme is also available. Subtle updates include upgraded materials and finishes, such as a new forged aluminum top yoke and brake pedal.
Customization and Accessibility
With 45 Genuine Triumph Accessories, riders can easily customize their Trident 660 for enhanced protection, comfort, styling, luggage, and security. Options range from heated grips and scrolling indicators for daily commutes to tail packs and tank bags for longer trips. An A2 restrictor kit is also available in European markets, allowing younger and new riders to meet A2 license requirements, with the option for full power restoration by a dealer upon progression to a full A license.
Unrivalled Ownership Costs and Availability
The Trident 660 continues to offer a best-in-class low cost of ownership. Its high build quality and premium materials contribute to extended service intervals of every 10,000 miles. Owners also benefit from a global two-year, unlimited mileage warranty and excellent residual values. The updated Trident 660 will begin arriving in dealerships from December 2024.
