Velocifero City-X, the brand’s first high-wheel scooter was officially launched at EICMA 2024, tailored specifically for the Italian urban riders. Featuring a stylish, modern design and practical features suited for city streets and uneven surfaces, the City-X marks a new era in Velocifero’s two-wheeled mobility lineup.
Engine Options and Lightweight Construction
The new City-X comes in two displacement options—a 125 cc version producing 14 hp, and a 180 cc version delivering 18 hp. Both are powered by a Euro 5+ compliant, 4-stroke, 4-valve, water-cooled single-cylinder engine. Despite the power boost, the scooter maintains a lightweight profile at 136 kg, ensuring nimble handling and everyday usability in dense city traffic.
Built for Safety and Stability
Velocifero has equipped the City-X with 16-inch wheels—a high-wheel configuration that enhances rider confidence over bumps, cobblestones, and uneven terrain. The wheels are paired with 100/80 front tyres and 120/80 rear tyres, offering solid grip and road stability.
Suspension duties are handled by a hydraulic telescopic front fork and rear twin shock absorbers, delivering a balanced ride. Both versions come standard with ABS braking for added safety.

Designed by Velocifero founder Alessandro Tartarini, the City-X boasts a sporty and streamlined aesthetic, defined by sharp angles and a distinctive front lighting cluster integrated into the shield. The scooter’s design reflects modern Italian urban culture—clean, dynamic, and confident.
The cockpit features a 5-inch full-color TFT display with user-friendly, intuitive graphics that keep the rider informed without distraction.

The Velocifero City-X will be available in Spring 2025, launching in five color options to suit varied rider preferences:
